We are aware some students can find the process of transition quite daunting, therefore ensuring students feel safe and happy when they arrive is very important to us. Please read the letter from Steve Wilson and the Year 8 Options Booklet 2024-2025 carefully before completing the online form. We have also included the School Prospectus below for further information about Whitley Bay High School.

ADMISSION FORM AND OPTION CHOICES

Our PAN (Published Admission Number) is now 370 after many requests from parents to extend the number of places we can offer. This allows us an opportunity to establish a wonderful school community where students can develop their individual interests, talents and creativity.

We are already working regularly with our feeder schools to ensure we know your child before they start in September. Our summer transition programme allows students and parents an opportunity to visit the school in order to meet the teachers and become familiar with the school environment. If you would like to do this at a convenient time to yourself, please get in touch via phone, email or the 'Contact Us' button below.

We look forward to meeting you this year and are very excited about working with you throughout your child's time at school.
